When letting a property there are certain legal requirements that have to be followed, such as gas and electric safety certificates and the Deposit Protection Scheme for the bond that will be required from each tenant. All tenants will be required to sign an Assured Shorthold Tenancy, this is a legally drawn up document that protects both you and the tenant and will be explained to you in detail.
Other choices, which you will need to make, are personal preferences as to the type of tenant and conditions that you may wish to impose.

When we are made aware of all your requirements we will implement them and take on all the relevant credit checks, references and inventories. On occupation we will deal with meter readings and name change for utility and council tax purposes.
